The RSC’s Recruitment and Training (FORT) programme is designed to support individuals and businesses to secure and sustain employment across Fort Kinnaird and the surrounding areas. Delivered by our on-site team, jobseekers (and employers) are able to access one to one support with our Employability Officer to guide them through the job search and recruitment process.

With a focus on securing fair and sustainable employment for jobseekers, we take a supportive and holistic approach to help people on their employment journey. Here is a summary of the support provided by our team:

  • CV and cover letter support
  • Guidance on the completion of application forms
  • Assistance with interview skills and preparation
  • Signposting to current vacancies across Fort Kinnaird and surrounding areas
  • Use of our computers for job searching
  • Confidence building and advice on managing those pre-interview nerves
  • Referral routes to other providers who provide bespoke support tailored to your needs

We understand the challenges individuals face in finding and securing work and we strive to support jobseekers in whatever way we can. Thanks to our extensive partnership network, we are able to refer people onto alternative provision that may be more suitable for their needs and circumstances. Whether it’s support closer to home or provision that aligns with specific client requirements, we’ll be able to sign-post individuals to the right place to enable them to access the support they need.
