We are proud to support schools and charitable organisations by offering free, practical skills workshops and industry insight experiences for young people and community groups.

Our sessions are designed to build confidence, develop real-world employability skills and prepare participants for the workplace.

Employer Site Visits

Where possible, workshops may include visits to employer stores, giving participants valuable insight into real working environments. Although we are happy to take workshop requests on an ad hoc basis, we cannot guarantee that employers will be able to facilitate visits in line with group requirements.

Our workshops are a flexible and agile way of engaging prospective employees with businesses at Fort Kinnaird. Below is an example of how our workshops are structured and delivered:

  • Designed for groups of up to 15 participants
  • Interactive, practical sessions centred around principles such as employer expectations and general employability skills
  • Delivered on-site at the Fort Kinnaird Recruitment and Skills Centre
  • Workshops are tailored to the needs of the group
  • Groups of participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult, keyworker or teacher
